In this article, we'll show you how to create Resource mailboxes for your Microsoft Exchange 2019 accounts.
Log on to the Exchange xAdmin tool.
Click the Resource mailboxes tile.
Click New Mailbox.
Choose the following settings for your resource.
Give your resource a name.
Optionally, you can select the resource type (room mailbox or device mailbox) and set whether to allow calendar conflicts or series of meetings.
In the field Additional text for the automatic reply: you can, for example, insert notes on the use of the resource if required.
Depending on the selected resource type, some additional information is now required. To do this, click Advanced Options.
Fill in the mandatory fields marked with * and make the desired optional settings.
For example, if you have selected the resource type Room P.O. Box, you must define the maximum duration of the meetings, the room capacity, and the maximum planning period.
Optionally, you can specify that the room may only be used during working hours.
To complete the setup, click Create Resource Mailbox.
