Setting up Microsoft Exchange® 2019 on an Android Device
For devices with the Android operating system
In this article, we'll show you how to set up a Microsoft Exchange 2019 account on your Android smartphone or tablet in just a few steps.
The following steps refer to devices from the manufacturer Samsung. The designations of the individual menu items may vary slightly for devices from other manufacturers.
Guided Steps
- Open the Settings menu.
- Under Accounts, tap Add Account.
- Select Microsoft Exchange here. Enter the following data:
Email: The full email address of your Microsoft Exchange 2019 account
- Password: Your password for this Microsoft Exchange 2019 email address
Tap Next, and then tap OK to allow the redirection request.
Tap OK to allow the Exchange Redirect Request.
Now enter your user name and the server:
Username: Your full email address that you used to set up Microsoft Exchange 2019.
Server: exchange2019.ionos.co.uk
Port: 443
Security: Confirm both fields: Use Secure Connection (SSL) and Accept All SSL Certificates
- Tap Next.
- In the account options, select which services you want to synchronise (notifications, contacts, calendar, etc.) and confirm with Next.
Your account has been successfully added.
