Setting Up Microsoft Exchange 2013 with a New Email Address

For Microsoft Exchange 2013 as an additional feature or as a separate contract

This article explains how to set up Microsoft Exchange 2013 for first-time use.

Notes
Attention
  • If you ordered Office 365 from IONOS or another provider and connected it with your domain registered with IONOS, you cannot use Microsoft Exchange 2013 with that domain.

Creating an Email Address

  • Log in to your IONOS account.

  • Click on the Email tile.

  • If necessary, select the contract that includes Microsoft Exchange 2013.

  • In the Portfolio section under Microsoft Exchange 2013, click Create.

  • Make sure that the Create an email address option is enabled.

  • In the Email field, enter the email address you want to use. If necessary, select the domain name you want to use.

  • Fill in the First Name and Last Name fields.

  • In the Password field, type the password you want.

  • Click Save.

The email address will be created and ready to use in a few minutes.

Downloading Microsoft Outlook

After you have set up Microsoft Exchange 2013 in your IONOS account, you can download Microsoft Outlook. You can find out how to do this in the article Downloading Microsoft Outlook for Microsoft Exchange 2013.
