Clone existing Cloud Servers if you need several servers with the same settings or if you want to move an existing server to another data centre. If you clone an existing server, all settings will be migrated automatically. Cloning a server makes sense when migrating a server used for testing, to a development phase, for example.

You are in the Infrastructure > Server section of the Cloud Panel.

  • Select the desired server.

  • Click Actions > Clone above the list of servers.

  • Click Advanced Options.

  • Select the desired data centre.

Please Note:

  • The shorter the geographical distance between the data centre chosen and the users or visitors, the shorter the loading times. In order to optimize the loading time, it is advisable to select the data centre that is closest to your users or visitors.

  • The following resources must be set up separately for each data centre:

    • Shared Storage

    • Load Balancer

    • Private Network

    • VPN

  • Firewall and monitoring policies can be assigned to all servers, regardless of the data centre selected.

  • Click Yes.

The cloning process will begin. You can view the status in the Infrastructure > Servers section of the Cloud Panel.
