For Web Hosting Linux and Windows packages
You have access to the log files of the web server on your web space at any time.
This allows you to evaluate them SiteAnalytics independently with a program of your choice.
Step 1
Log in to your web space with your FTP program.
Step 2
Change to the logs directory. This can be found at the top level of the directory.
step 3
The log files of the web server have the form access.log.XX.gz. Download them to your computer.
Please note: For web hosting packages with Windows Server-technology, you will find the packed files in the logs directory in folders that have the same name as your domains.
Step 4
If the log files are from the previous day or older, they are automatically packed in.gz format. To unpack the files you need a program on Windows systems that can unpack GZIP archives. The programs WinZip or WinRar, for example, are suitable for this purpose. Please observe the license terms of the respective manufacturer.
