Which CDN package is right for me?
IONOS offers two CDN packages that are tailored to different needs:
- CDN Basic: The ideal and cost-effective solution for beginners.
- CDN Pro: Offers advanced functions such as a web application firewall (WAF) for professional security and performance requirements.

Order CDN package
You can order the desired CDN package directly in your IONOS account:
- Log in to your IONOS account.
- Click on Menu > Hosting in the title bar.
- Optional: If you have several contracts, select the contract for which you want to use the CDN.
- Locate the CDN tile and proceed as follows:
- Case A: You do not yet have a CDN product. Click on the Order button in the tile.
- Case B: You already have a CDN product. Click on the Manage button in the tile. On the following page, click on Add another CDN in the top right-hand corner.
- You will be redirected to the IONOS CDN powered by Cloudflare page. Select your desired product (CDN Basic or CDN Pro)and click on Order in the corresponding tile.
- A pop-up window for the order will open. Tick the box to confirm that you have read and agree to the General Terms and Conditions (incl. cancellation policy).
- To finalise your order, click on Buy now.
The CDN product will now be added to your contract. This process may take a moment.
