Managing support tickets
Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.
IONOS support tickets are the easiest way to get help at your convenience. This article explains how to reopen closed tickets, and how to view archived tickets.
Reopen a closed ticket
If your ticket has been closed, and you realize the issue still persists, you can reopen the ticket. To do so, complete the following:
- Login to your IONOS account.
- Click on Help, contact & support tickets (question-mark speech bubble) in the top right menu. The Help, contact & support tickets overlay window will appear.
- Click on the Support tickets tab. From here you can manage and create support tickets.
- Click on View and create tickets. The Support tickets overview page opens.
- Under the Topic tab, click on the closed ticket you want to reopen. The status of the ticket should indicate “Closed”.
- Click on Reopen ticket. An overlay popup opens.
- Add additional information to the mandatory textbox under Comment.
- Click on Reopen ticket.
View archived tickets
If a ticket has been closed for 30 days, it becomes archived. Tickets with the status “archived” can not be reopened anymore. For related inquiries, please create a new ticket.
To view archived tickets, complete the following steps:
Login to your IONOS account.
Click on Help, contact & support tickets (question-mark speech bubble) in the top right menu. The Help & contact overlay window will appear.
Click on the Support Tickets tab.
Click on View and create tickets. The Support tickets overview page opens.
Click on Archived tickets (older than 30 days) under the Support tickets overview table. The Archived tickets page opens.
Under the Topic tab, you can click on any archived ticket you wish to view.
