This article explains how to change your bank details for SEPA Direct Debit at IONOS.

You are the account holder

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • Click Menu in the title bar and then select My account. The My account page opens.

  • Click on the Invoices & payment details tile. The Invoices & payment details page opens.

  • On the Invoices & payment details page, click Change paymentmethod in the Payment method section.

  • Select SEPA Direct Debit from the available payment methods.
  • Enter your new details.
  • Agree that amounts due may be debited from the specified account until cancelled.
  • Click on Save.

Note

Consent for the direct debit is required even if the customer name and account holder are not different.

Another person is the account holder

If you are not the account holder, please also tick the Alternative account holder box on the Invoices & payment details page and enter your full name.

You thereby agree to the following conditions:

  • Amounts due will be debited from the specified account until cancelled.

  • You are authorised to use the account details of the named account holder.

  • The billing address provided is correct and that you will forward all communication to the account holder.
