An IONOS support ticket can be created to request assistance from Customer Service. This article explains how to submit a support ticket.

Submit an IONOS support ticket

To open a support ticket with IONOS, complete the following:

  • Login to your IONOS account.
  • Click on Help, contact & support tickets (question-mark speech bubble) in the top right menu. The Help, contact & support tickets overlay window will appear.
  • Click on the Support tickets tab. From here you can manage and create support tickets.
  • Click on View and create tickets. The Support tickets overview page opens.
  • Click on Create a new ticket. The Create new support ticket page opens.
  • Select the applicable topic related to your inquiry from the drop-down list under Topic.
  • Select the relevant package from the drop-down list under Contract.
  • Enter the details about your request in the provided textbox under Details of your inquiry.
  • Click on Create a new ticket.

Your support ticket has now been created. You will receive an email notification confirming that the ticket was successfully created. This email contains a link that you can use to return back to your ticket.

Note

If a ticket with the same topic is already open, a message will be displayed. You can click on the linked ticket to add a comment to the existing ticket.

View ticket updates

You can login to your IONOS account at any time to check for updates on your request, or to add additional comments. For more information, see the article “Tracking a support ticket”.
