This article explains what happens to your Google Workspace account when your IONOS contract ends or is cancelled.

After cancelling your Google Workspace contract with IONOS, a transfer process is started automatically. This will transfer the management and billing of your account from IONOS directly to Google.

Important points that you should consider

The login remains unchanged:

Admin access: https://admin.google.com

Access to Gmail and apps: https://workspace.google.com/dashboard

Use your existing Google credentials to sign in.

Notification: Super administrators in your organisation will receive an automated email from Google with the specific details of the migration.

No downtime: The transfer will have no impact on your data, email, or service availability. You can continue to use all Google Workspace services as usual during the migration.

Billing setup: Once the transfer to Google has been initiated, you will be prompted to set up a new billing profile directly in your Google Admin Console.

Data continuity

Your emails, files, and settings remain unchanged. Only the billing relationship changes from IONOS to Google.
