For Linux VPS, Windows VPS, and migrated Cloud Servers which are managed in the Cloud Panel

This article explains how to assign a new additional IP address to a VPS or a migrated Cloud Server. To do this, proceed as follows:

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • Click on the  Servers & Cloud tile. If you have multiple server contracts, select the desired contract.

  • Click on the desired server in the Infrastructure > Server area.
  • Click on Network > Assign IP. The Assign public IP window then opens.

  • Select the IP address type to be assigned to the server.

  • Click on Yes.

The additional IP address is assigned to the server.
