  • Enter a name in the Name field.
  • Select a metric in the Metric field.
  • Select the desired unit in the Unit field.
  • In the Threshold type field, select the desired threshold rule.
  • Enter the desired threshold value in the Threshold field. The threshold value must be at least 1.
  • Enter the duration in ISO 8601 format in the Range field. Example: To display 1 hour and 10 minutes, enter the duration in the following format: PT1H10M.
  • Select the desired type of time range aggregation in the Range aggregation area. You can choose between average or delta.
  • Enter the desired alarm delay in ISO-8601 format.

Note

The alarm delay is the time between the configured threshold parameters being exceeded by the monitoring metric and an alarm notification being sent. The minimum time allowed is zero seconds. If you enter zero seconds, an action is triggered immediately as soon as the defined criteria are met. You can also delay the alarm notification by setting a higher value.

  • Enter the desired email address or addresses in the E-mail addresses field.
  • To create the alert, click on Create.
