Valid for VPS, Cloud Servers, migrated Cloud Servers, and Dedicated Server with Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, or Windows Server 2025.

To remove an additional public IPv6 address from a Windows server:

Requirements
  • You have unassigned the additional public IPv6 address in the Cloud Panel.

  • You have logged in to the server.

  • Open the Control Panel.

  • Click Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.

  • Right-click the network adapter.

  • Click Properties.

  • Double-click Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP / IPv6).

  • Activate the Obtain an IPv6 address automatically option.

  • Click OK.

  • Confirm the open dialogs with OK.

The additional public IPv6 address will be removed.
