Adding new products to the Online Shop

Add products

• Log in to your IONOS account.

• In the title bar, click on Menu > Websites & Shops.
  Optional: Select the desired website.

• Click on Manage website.
• On the Manage and edit your Online-Shop page, click on Manage your Online Shop .
• In the administration interface, select Products in the menu.
• Click on Product overview.
• Click on the Add button.
• Under General , enter a product name and a description to be displayed in your IONOS Online Shop .
• If you would like to assign keywords for a search within your shop, click on More options and enter keywords that the customer can use to find the product in your Online Shop.
• If you would like to display the product in Online Shop, select Yes under Product is visible. If you do not want to display it temporarily, select No.
• Under Price, enter the list price (net) and select the tax class from the drop-down menu.
• Click on More options to display an old price for the product, and to enter a reference unit such as grams.
• Under Categories , you can assign categories to the product under which it should be found in your Online Shop.
• Under Delivery , you can assign both the delivery time and the shipping weight per item. You can select the weight dimensions via the drop-down menu.
• After clicking on Further options, you can select possible shipping methods such as standard delivery, express delivery,and curbside pickup, and specify the dimensions of the product.
• Under Manufacturer , you can enter the name of the product manufacturer as well as a manufacturer part number.
• Under Inventory , you can enter the product number, product code such as EAN or ISBN for connected systems or product portals, your stock level, and a minimum stock level.
• Under Legal , you can enter essential features that can be displayed in the last step of the order and that are mandatory in some countries.
• You can also upload a product data sheet and enter an energy label if your product is subject to labelling requirements.
• If you want to use attributes , enter them under the entry with the same name.
• For better findability in search engines, enter a page title of between 15 and 70 characters and a meta description of up to 320 characters under Search engine entry.
