Exporting chats from IONOS GPT

Valid for IONOS GPT (Momentum AI).

Would you like to save your conversations from IONOS GPT? Below, you’ll find out how to export individual chats as well as your entire chat history.

Exporting a single chat

To save a specific conversation:

Go to IONOS GPT.
On the left-hand side of the interface, find the chat you wish to export.
Click on the three-dot icon at the right-hand end of the chat’s row. The chat menu will open.

Click on Export in the menu. A sub-menu will open to the right, allowing you to select the export format.

To start the export, select the format you want in the sub-menu:
- Export chat (.json) – structured data
- Plain text (.txt) – plain text
- PDF document (.pdf) – print-friendly document

The contents of your chat will be exported in the selected format. You will find the file in your browser’s default download folder.

Exporting all chats (JSON format only)

You can also download all your conversations at once. In this case, however, only the JSON format is available.

To export all chats in JSON format:

Go to IONOS GPT.
Click on the user icon in the top right-hand corner.

In the user menu that opens, click on Settings. The Settings window will open.

Select the General category on the left-hand side.
Next to Export all chats, click on Export chats.

IONOS GPT consolidates all your chats into a single JSON file and starts the download automatically. Depending on how many chats you have, this process may take a few minutes.
