The Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) is a concilliation process introduced by ICANN for solving domain name disputes. This method is used by all ICANN accredited domain names.

UDRP is used when:

  • Your domain name is the same as or can be confused with one of the complainant's trademarks.
  • You have no rights or any legitimate interest in the domain name.
  • The domain name has been registered and is being used in bad faith.

During the concilliation process, the complainant must demonstrate that all three of these conditions are met.
