Email inboxes at a glance

An email inbox is also known as an email account. An email inbox allows you to send and receive emails. Each email inbox comes with an email address as standard. In addition, every email inbox has email storage space.

All emails you send and receive are stored in this email storage space until they are deleted automatically or manually. The size of this storage space depends on your email provider and subscription package.

If you set up an email account at IONOS, you can send and receive your messages via webmail. Alternatively, you can use an email client such as Microsoft Outlook or a smartphone app such as the Gmail app.
