Setting up Microsoft Exchange® 2019 on an iPhone or iPad

For Microsoft Exchange 2019 and iPhones/iPads with iOS version 11 or later

This article explains how to set up a Microsoft Exchange 2019 account on iPhone or iPad. With your Apple mobile devices and Microsoft Exchange 2019, you can access your emails, calendars, contacts, reminders, and notes from anywhere.

Please Note

  • This guide was created on an iOS 14 device. Menu navigation may differ slightly on other iOS versions.

Guided Steps

  • Go to the Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

  • Select Mail > Accounts > Add Account. Note that on iPadOS, the Add Account menu item is accessible from Settings > Passwords and Accounts.

  • Select Microsoft Exchange as the account type.

  • Enter your Microsoft Exchange 2019 email address.

  • Confirm your entry by clicking Next, and the message that appears afterwards by clicking Log in. Your device will now check whether a connection can be established.

  • After a successful check, successfully enter your Exchange 2019 password. A new window will open.

  • In the Server field, enter exchange2019.ionos.co.uk and in the Username field, enter your Microsoft Exchange 2019 email address. Leave the Domain field blank.

  • Click Next.

  • Select which data (mail, contacts, calendar, reminders, notes) you want to synchronise and confirm with Save.
