Setting up Mail Business users
Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.
You can set up a Mail Business user by creating a new email address for them. Here we’ll show you how to do this.
Log in to your IONOS account.
Click on Menu and then on the Email tile.
Select the contract you wish to use.
Click on Create another mailbox .
Depending on your plan, there are several types available for you to choose from. Click on Create in the Mail Business | 50 GB tile. Alternatively, you can order other products, which will incur additional costs.
In the Email field, enter the desired name for the email address (the part that comes before the @ symbol) and select a domain.
Enter your chosen password.
Optional: To forward emails to another existing email address, enable the Add forwarding destination setting. Then enter the desired email address.
Optional: Enable anti-spam, which automatically filters out suspicious emails.
Optional: Enable Premium Virus Protection. Premium Virus Protection automatically scans incoming emails and protects you from viruses, worms and Trojans.
Note
You can change your security settings at any time later on.
Finally, click Save.
The Mail Business user will be set up.
