Performance databases are optional databases for web hosting packages. They offer more storage space and a higher maximum number of parallel client connections than standard databases. This ensures that your website continues to respond quickly even with many visitors.

Order and set up a performance database
You order and create performance databases in a single process: The order is placed in the database creation dialog in your IONOS account. After the order is placed, the performance database is immediately added to your contract and you are taken directly to the creation process. If you would like to create the database later, you can cancel the creation process and complete it at any time.
