Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.
This article explains how to delete a backup package in your Cloud Panel, and what you need to bear in mind to fully terminate any associated costs and contracts.
Important information regarding contracts and costs
Before proceeding, please consider you purchased the backup product, as simply deleting the package in Cloud Panel does not necessarily constitute cancellation:
- Cloud Backup as a server feature: If you are using Cloud Backup as a standard feature of your server (e.g. VPS, Cloud Server or Dedicated Server) within the same Cloud Panel, simply deleting the backup package inthe Cloud Panel is sufficient to stop the charges.
- MyDefender: If you have purchased MyDefender, you must cancel the MyDefender contract separately.
- MyBackup: If you have purchased Cloud Backup as part of a MyBackup contract, this contract must also be cancelled normally.
You can find detailed instructions on cancelling contracts or add-ons in the following article: Cancelling your entire IONOS contract
