Changing Your Payment Method

In this article, we will show you how to easily update your payment method.

Keeping your payment method current will ensure that your account remains active and will prevent it from becoming locked.

  • Log in to your IONOS Customer Account.
  • Click on My Account & Logout at the top-right and select Invoices & Payment Details.
  • Click on Edit underneath Payment Method.
  • Select to pay by Debit or Credit Card, PayPal or Direct Debit
  • If Paying by Credit Card:
    Enter your credit card information.
    Enter your name and billing address.
    Tick the box to agree to IONOS debiting this account for all future costs.
    Click on Save.

    If Paying by PayPal:
    Read the on-screen instructions for using PayPal as a payment method.
    Click Go to PayPal.
    Log in to your PayPal account and complete the rest of the steps with PayPal.
    Click Back to Merchant when you are finished to return to IONOS.

    If Paying by Direct Debit:
    Enter your Account Number.
    Enter your Sort Code.
    Tick the box to confirm that are the account holder.
    Tick the box to agree to IONOS debiting this account for all future costs.
    Click on Save.

Please Note:

Changes to Direct Debit may take up to 14 days to complete.
