Unassigning a block storage
Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.
Valid for Cloud Servers, migrated Cloud Servers, and VPS+ managed in the Cloud Panel.
You can unassign an existing block storage at any time. Complete the following to unassign a block storage:
- Log in to your IONOS account.
Click on Menu > Servers & Cloud in the title bar.
Optional: If you have multiple server contracts, select the desired contract.
- Click on Infrastructure > Block Storage in the navigation bar on the left of the Cloud Panel. The Block Storages area opens.
- Click on the desired block storage.
- Click on the pencil icon on the Assigned to: line under Properties.
- Select the option Not assigned.
- Click on Save changes.
The block storage will now be unassigned.
