In this article, we'll show you how you can import one virtual machine image or one ISO image per server to use for reinstalling on existing servers or for creating new ones.

Please Note

For legal reasons, the Windows Server operating systems in Cloud Servers are licensed according to the core license model. This also applies to Windows Server operating systems that you install using an ISO image and for which you use your own license key.

To import an ISO image:

Requirements
  • You are in the Infrastructure > Images section of the Cloud Panel.

  • You have created a virtual machine image. The image is bootable and is available in the .iso file format.

  • The maximum file size of the image is 500 GB.

  • Click Create.

  • Enter a name.

  • Check the Import ISO box.

  • Select whether the image is of an application or an operating system.

Warning

To ensure the best possible functioning of the server, always select the correct operating system or distribution.

  • In the URL field, enter the URL where the ISO image can be downloaded.

  • Select the desired data centre.

  • Click Create.

Please Note

The final size of the image is displayed in the Images section after the import process is complete. The calculated costs are listed in the Interactive Billing area.
