With the Linux rescue system, you can log in on your server even if it is no longer accessible over the network. It is a Debian minimal system. After you have booted your server into the rescue system, you can back up important data, for example.

Requirement

You are in the Infrastructure > Servers section of the Cloud Panel.

  • Click on the desired server.

  • Click Actions > Restart.

  • Activate the Rescue System method and select the Linux Rescue System.

  • Click Yes and the server will boot into the Linux rescue system.

  • To log in to your Linux rescue system, use the credentials displayed to establish an encrypted network connection to your server via SSH.
