Shared Storage: Changing User Password

Once the first shared storage is created, the main user account becomes enabled. You must define the initial password yourself, and it can be changed at any time right in the Cloud Panel.

  • Log in to the Cloud Panel

  • In the Infrastructure > Shared Storage section of the  Cloud Panel, click the Access button.

  • In the Login Data section, enter the password in the appropriate fields and click Confirm Changes.

The password has now been changed.

After you change your shared storage password, the Kerberos key will also be changed. In order to use shared storage after changing the password, you must install the new Kerberos key on all servers that access the shared storage.
