Editing header and footer in MyWebsite Now

Valid for MyWebsite Now.

The header and footer are displayed on every page of your MyWebsite Now project. This article explains how to customise these areas of your website project.

Note

Editing the header and footer is only possible to a limited extent. Neither area can be deleted.

Open the MyWebsite Now editor

Log in to your IONOS account.
In the title bar click on Menu > Websites & Shops.
If you have multiple contracts, click on Manage website in the tile with the name of your online project.
The Presence Suite for this project opens.
In the left menu bar of the Presence Suite, select Website > Website Editor. The MyWebsite Now Editor opens in a new window.

Customise content and appearance

Select Content in the left-hand menu bar of the MyWebsite Now editor.
Click on the header or footer section in the Page Content column.
Move your mouse pointer over the selected section. A toolbar will appear in the top left-hand corner of the section.
Click on the Elements (pencil & ruler) button on the toolbar. The Header options or Footer options column appears.
Select what is to be displayed on the Elements tab. If the eye symbol behind an element is crossed out, it is not displayed. Click on the symbol to display it again.
Customise the appearance of your header and footer on the Design tab, e.g. by selecting a layout variant or a specific colour.
