Logging in to the WordPress administration

Valid for Hosting for WordPress and Managed Hosting for WordPress.

The WordPress administration interface (WP Admin) is the control centre of your WordPress installation. This is where you edit the appearance of your website, manage plugins, add content, and more. This article explains how to access the WordPress administration dashboard.

Access WP Admin dashboard

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • Click Menu > Web Projects in the title bar. Your web projects overview opens.
    Optional: Select the desired contract by clicking the Manage project button on the corresponding tile.
  • Click on the Open WordPress link (Edit website in older contracts). The administration area of the selected WordPress installation opens in a new window.
