Information about the free trial version of the AI App & Site Builder

With the AI App & Site Builder from IONOS, you can create fully fledged web apps and websites without any programming knowledge. With the free trial version, you can try out the benefits of the AI App & Site Builder without any contractual commitment. This article explains what you need to bear in mind when using the AI App & Site Builder free trial.

Signing up for the AI App & Site Builder trial version

You can sign up for the trial version on the AI App & Site Builder registration page using an email address or a Google account. All you need to do is enter the security code from the confirmation email, and you can get started right away.

  • No IONOS account required.

  • No credit card or bank details required.

  • Registering does not create a contract, and no account number is issued.

Limitations of the trial version

The trial version of the AI App & Site Builder offers essentially the same features as the paid AI App & Site Builder packages, but it is restricted in certain areas.

  • Limited number of AI credits: Unlike the paid packages, the trial version includes only a limited number of AI credits.

  • Project limitation: You can only create one trial project. You can test and optimise this project until you have used up your available AI credits.

  • No live mode: You can view your project in the live preview at any time. Publishing it on the internet is only possible with a paid package.

  • Email: Email functions, such as those for a contact form, are only available after an upgrade.

  • Export: Code and database exports are only available after an upgrade.

Only one trial version is permitted per email address.

Note

A large and complex trial project uses up a significant number of AI credits while it is being created. IONOS therefore recommends using simple prompts so that you can try out as much as possible during the trial. Transferring your trial project to a paid package

If you decide to continue using the AI App & Site Builder, click one of the upgrade buttons displayed in the user interface. If you are already an IONOS customer, you can sign in during the ordering process to link the selected AI App & Site Builder package to your IONOS account.

After the upgrade is complete, you can find your trial project in your IONOS account under Menu > Web Projects. Your trial project is transferred in full, and you can continue developing it.
