Please Note

If you cannot automatically connect your Adobe Portfolio website to your IONOS domain, check the DNS settings of your IONOS domain. When you do this, make sure that a CNAME record is created with the hostname _domainconnect and the value _domainconnect.ionos.com. If your domain was registered before January 2022, it may still have the CNAME record_domainconnect.1and1.com. However, this does not affect the functionality of your domain, and both records work in the same way.

SSL Certificates on Adobe Portfolio

After you connect your domain, Adobe Portfolio automatically installs an SSL certificate for your website. You don't need to do anything else.

An SSL certificate provides an encrypted connection between a web server and a browser to ensure the security of transmitted data and increase user confidence in the website.

Please Note

According to Adobe, installing the SSL certificate can take up to 30 minutes. During this installation phase, your browser will display a temporary security warning when you access your website. This warning disappears once the SSL certificate installation completes successfully.
