No Consent Received for the Domain Transfer

This article will show you what to do if your domain transfer cannot be completed because consent has not been received from the domain owner (registrant contact or Reg-C).

If you wish to restart the domain transfer, proceed as follows:

  • Are all requirements met? Check that the Prerequisites for a Successful Domain Transfer are met. Very important: Disable the transfer lock and private registration.
  • Check your spam folder: Sometimes the confirmation email is filtered into your mailbox's spam folder by mistake.
  • Check the contact details (email addresses) for your domain: A correct and current email address must be recorded for the domain owner (Reg-C). If necessary, you can update the contact details for your domain on the Domains > Privacy & Contact Details page. This generally takes about 24 to 48 hours.
  • Restart the domain transfer: If the contact details are correct, you can restart the domain tranfer. You will find the necessary link in an email with the subject line: Transfer of your domain [] not possible.
